Does your diet affect Acne ?

Many people believe that greasy foods will lead to or worsen an acne condition. Maybe acne gets serious by certain foods, but this does not mean that certain foods cause acne. Studies show that diet does not directly affect acne. However, since skin is the largest organ of your body, a diet which is best for your body will be good for your skin as well.

Here are healthy vitamins, minerals and other supplements that have been known to prevent and help clear up acne :

1. Vitamin A. produced by plants, this vitamin is also know as beta-carotene. It is found in yellowish-orange fruits and vegetables -  yams, cantaloupe, carrots apricots, and in green vegetables like spinach, kale and parsley. Be ware that high doses of vitamin A are toxic, so get your vitamin A only from food, not from supplements.

2. Vitamin B complex  These vitamins are found in leafy vegetables, fish, milk, eggs and whole grains, and have many functions. for example, B-1, B-6 and B-12 are known to relieve stress, which is contributor to acne. And B-3, reportedly reduces cholesterol level, and has an anti-inflammatory effect on skin. It also improves your metabolism and circulation.

3. Vitamin C. has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and has helped heal skin and prevent the return of acne. It is being tested as a way to repair scar tissue damage from teen years.

4. Vitamin E.  found in almonds, broccoli, peanuts, sunflower seeds, wheat germ and vegetable oils, vitamin E has long been thought to help heal scar tissue. However, many healthcare professionals question this. Instead, researchers are today considering that only a certain type of vitamin E called tocotrienol ( often referred to as high potency E or HPE ) may carry antioxidant properties that encourage clear skin.

5.  L-Carnitine. This supplement is reported to help repair skin damage from acne for young and old people.

6.  Zinc. are known to improve the overall health of the body, including the skin.

Using right vitamin and minerals will likely help you prevent acne. Combine this with drinking plenty of water daily to keep skin well hydrated and making good, healthy food choices.

If you are looking for a skin cleaning system which is safe and effective to get rid of your acne then we do recommend a skin cleansing system that held our interest through both its quality of ingredients and safety record, since no customers complained of side effects. The ClearPores System is composed of deep facial and body washes, a herbal supplement and protection creams for face and body. The washes are based on the effective SD Alcohol and Salicylic Acid solutions that open the pores and cleanse the skin of dirt and bacteria, while the herbal supplement helps the body fight bacteria from the inside.
